Congratulations to Gaiser Middle School! The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction has named Gaiser a Washington State Green School Leader for excellence in reducing environmental impact and costs and improving the health and wellness of schools, students and staff. The award is part of the U.S. Department of Education’s effort to identify and disseminate knowledge about practices that are proven to result in student engagement and higher academic achievement.

Gaiser also recently completed their fifth level of sustainability in the Washington Green Schools program, the first district in the state to do so.
