Android 2.2 and higher and iOS 6 and higher will support the app.

Windows phone users can access a mobile version of the app by going to vansd.parentlink.net/m using their phone’s web browser.

The Skyward portion of the app is compatible with most mobile devices, including iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile. It works with most smartphones and tablet devices.

If you’re using an Apple device:

  • Tap on the “Settings” icon.
  • Select “Reset app defaults.” (Note: This will reset all your settings, including your selected feeds.)
  • Hit “Reset.”
  • If that doesn’t work, you may need to uninstall the app and download it again.

If you’re using an Android device:

  • Exit the app and go to your phone settings.
  • Locate the application manager, and find the VPS mobile app.
  • Tap on the icon.
  • On the next screen, hit “Clear data.”
  • If that doesn’t work, you may need to uninstall the app and download it again.
  • Tap on the “Skyward Student Info” icon.
  • Hit “Forgot your login/password?”
  • Complete the captcha and enter your email address or username to have your password sent to you. (Once you complete this process and follow the instructions in the email, you should regain instant access to the Skyward Family Access system.)
  • If you still can’t log into Skyward Family Access:
    • Did you request an account at least a week ago? (It can take up to a week to process new requests.)
    • Have you tried entering your password as all lowercase letters?
    • Is your student still enrolled in Vancouver Public Schools? Accounts are automatically disabled when a child leaves the district.
    • If you still can’t access the system, please contact your school’s office for additional assistance.
If you don’t see a Family Access area when you log into the app, you may not be activated for it. Check with your child’s school and be sure to mention that you are a VPS employee.
The mobile version of Skyward does not support transactions. However, you can make a payment through Skyward’s regular website.
No. The VPS mobile app is not configured to auto-rotate.
