Most memorable career experience: Starting out in Vancouver at then–Lewis and Clark
[High School]. First time with alternative education and the realities that some of our students had to bear was an eyeopener.(Editor’s note: Lewis and Clark has been replaced by Vancouver Flex Academy, a school of choice.)
One thing I’ve learned: Seeing students outside the classroom, in programs or athletics, is always amazing. Their passions shine through and their motivation is incredible.
Three words that describe me: Ambitious, responsible, intelligent.
When I’m not working, I: Camp and spend time with friends and family (including the furry, four-legged family members).
