Congratulations to Vancouver iTech Preparatory senior Astrid DuBois! She is one of two recipients of the Val Joshua Racial Justice Award from the YWCA Clark County, along with Clark College’s Felisciana Peralta.

The Val Joshua Award was originally given to Val Joshua in 1989 in recognition of her lifelong commitment and work toward the elimination of racism. The awards are presented annually to individuals, groups, businesses or organizations who have demonstrated leadership in working toward eliminating racism and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity.
