It’s time to stand up for public education and tell the real story of the amazing work the VPS staff does…every day.

This school year, we’re using social media to showcase VPS’ successes.

Icon: TwitterSuperintendent Steve Webb will be visiting schools and using Twitter to tell stories about all the great things he sees. You can help spread the district’s stories across social media. And if you’re a district staff member, you could win a gift card, too! Here’s what to do:

  1. Follow Dr. Webb (@SuptVPS) on Twitter.
  2. Watch for tweets specific to VPS success stories that contain #VPSsuccess. If your name appears in the tweet, you could win a Beaches gift card!
  3. To win the gift card, the subject of the tweet needs to retweet the story within two days.

Thanks to our longstanding community partner Beaches Restaurant for believing in VPS’ success and helping us spread the word with their donation of gift cards.

It’s time to tell the world: Vancouver schools are thriving! #VPSsuccess
