Vancouver Public Schools is committed to equity for all of its students, families and staff members. As part of this commitment, the district is developing an equity policy that will provide a roadmap for day-to-day operations, providing accountability and guidance for decision-making.

A draft of the proposed policy will be available on the district’s website, vansd.org, for advance review and feedback starting Oct. 12.

Families, staff members and community members also will have a chance to learn about the policy and provide feedback during the webinar.

In addition, participants may share their thoughts via an online survey.
