Congratulations to the Hudson’s Bay High School Future Farmers of America chapter, which recently was selected for a $2,500 Living to Serve: Food for All grant from the National FFA.

Funds will be used to build additional raised garden beds to grow produce that will be distributed through the school’s Family-Community Resource Center and/or the Clark County Food Bank. The existing beds already generate produce that is shared with Hudson’s Bay’s GRADS Teen Parent Program.

This grant follows another FFA grant awarded last fall for the school’s work to mycroremediate paper and cardboard waste.
