Propstra is closed from Friday, March 13, through Friday, April 24.

Vancouver Public Schools is closing all its schools Monday, March 16, through Friday, April 24. Gov. Jay Inslee has directed all Washington state public schools to close to help our state and nation combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Effective today March 13 and throughout the closure, ALL pools, lessons, classes and activities will be canceled.

Propstra Aquatic Center

The facility includes two pools—a six-lane, 25-yard pool for competitive swimming and a leisure pool for use by persons with disabilities, for self-directed physical therapy and for summer swim lessons. The center is used for district swim team practices and events and is open to the public as well.

The Propstra Aquatic Center was built in 1999 thanks to a generous donation by George and Carolyn Propstra.

Are you preparing for a triathlon? Or would you like to just swim like you are training for one? Participants will be taught basic stroke improvements to become a more efficient swimmer.

45 minute instructed lesson with same day practice time included.
