  • Filter food choices by allergens
  • Make healthy food choices

Special dietary needs requests

If your child has a special dietary need, you may request accommodations from the Nutrition Services Department by completing the Special Dietary Accommodations form.

Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) National School Lunch and Breakfast Program

All VPS students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast’s Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

While meals are free for all students, some of the education programs the district offers are funded by state dollars that require our schools to collect information from families.

Completing the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit application helps families:

  • Qualify for Summer EBT (SUN Bucks)
  • Receive discounts on school programs, testing, and activities
  • Secure critical funding for your school specifically and VPS as a whole

Apply online at mealtimeapps.com. If you have trouble accessing the form, you may request a paper form that you can complete and return either to your school or directly to:

Meal Service & Student ID Numbers

Even though meals are free, students must enter their student ID number at the register to get a meal. This helps us:

  • Monitor dietary restrictions
  • Avoid duplicate meals
  • Track participation
  • Stay compliant with federal program rules

Please help your child learn and practice their student ID number before school starts.
