How we communicate

We communicate with families through ParentSquare, a new platform we are using for school communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number.

We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

Frequently asked questions

The primary family (up to two parents/guardians self-identified as the primary family on a student’s registration form) will receive most messages, including absence messages.

A second family may also receive some messages if the family has signed up for ParentVUE.

The primary parent/guardian is identified as such on students’ registration forms. A different parent/guardian may become the primary if requested through the school office.

Contact your child’s school’s office to change or update recipients and/or contact information.

Please make sure your school has up-to-date contact information. You can also check your notification settings in ParentSquare to make sure you did not accidentally turn off notifications.
