They come from 47 different countries and speak 25 different languages, but they all have one thing in common—friendship. The students of Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School will celebrate International Friendship Day in an all-school assembly.

During the 2017 celebration, Roosevelt will honor students’ diversity, cultures and friendships. Student performances will include dances from Mexico, Russia, Africa, Tahiti, South Korea, India and the United States. Flags from 47 countries will be presented and awards will be given to students for building international friendships and being school ambassadors.
