Additional communication of cases
All VPS staff members are notified daily when school is in session of all COVID-19 cases in the district. Email notifications will be sent for cases that are reported to the COVID response team and meet the following conditions:
- A VPS staff member or student tests positive or is presumed positive for COVID-19
- The individual was in a VPS building or on a VPS bus during their infectious period (48 hours before they began showing symptoms)
Cases that meet these conditions also can be viewed on school websites.
