This post is regarding a possible school closure on Jan. 25 due to a potential strike by the union representing support staff. If the union decides to strike and members don’t come to work, schools would be closed until the strike is over.
The bargaining teams are negotiating all day today and tonight, and district leaders are hopeful that an agreement can be reached in time to keep schools open. However, families should be prepared for the possibility of a closure and have a backup plan. We will attempt to notify families by no later than 5 a.m. on Friday.
