For the third consecutive year, Vancouver School of Arts and Academics’ Christian Ramirez earned recognition in the prestigious YoungArts competition. The high school senior received an honorable mention in the jazz/double bass category. Only 15 students nationwide, including Ramirez, achieved commendations in jazz/double bass.
YoungArts honorees are selected by top artists based on the students’ caliber of artistic achievement. Awardees represent the top 9.5% of applications across 10 artistic disciplines.
