They could eat them in a box. They might eat them with a fox.
But first-graders from all over Clark County will be dining on green eggs and ham with their parents and guardians at school this week.
For the 21st year, Beaches Restaurant is serving up the eponymous dish from Dr. Seuss’ classic children’s book. Students also will take home, courtesy of Riverview Community Bank, free books and kid-size versions of the Cat in the Hat’s iconic striped chapeau.
The Green Eggs and Ham breakfast intersects with Dr. Seuss’ birthday, March 2, and the National Education Association’s Read Across America program.
