Vancouver School of Arts and Academics students Nathan Keldsen, Timo Isreb, Eli Gomez and Cassy Akimseu-Arnold wrote, filmed and edited a short film in just one weekend using the prompt “Generation Now.”
“Dreamcast,” their submission to the 2019 National Film Festival for Talented Youth, took third place in the 48-hour category. Twenty-two schools submitted films. VSAA was honored at the festival in Seattle, Washington, on Oct. 27.

The National Film Festival for Talented Youth is the flagship program of the nonprofit organization The Talented Youth. The festival showcases films by emerging directors 24 years of age or younger.
